Elise Johnson
My name is Elise Johnson, and I just completed my 22nd year in education. I spent the first eight years with the Technical College System of Georgia and the past 14 years as a high school counselor in Walton County Schools. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, I completed my bachelor's degree in biology/psychology from Birmingham-Southern College, master's degree in Counseling-College Student Personnel from Shippensburg University (PA), and Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision from Auburn University. I will be working primarily with students in 9th - 12th grades whose last names begin with A-F. As a department, we provide a broad range of services, including:
- academic/dual enrollment advisement and scheduling
- career planning and development
- post-high school/college planning
- personal/social support and resources

Meredith Hallman
My name is Meredith Hallman, and this upcoming year will be my 9th year as a high school counselor. I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia and both my master's and specialist degrees in School Counseling from Clemson University. I will be working with students in grades 9-12 whose last names begin with P-Z. As a counseling department, we provide a variety of different services. These services include:
- academic/dual enrollment advisement and scheduling
- career planning and development
- post-high school/college planning
- personal/social support and resources

Cassie Morgan
My name is Cassie Morgan, and I am one of the counselors here at JHS. I was born and raised on Long Island, New York. I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from Adelphi University in 2013 and then went on to attain my master's degree in School Counseling and Guidance from Springfield College in 2015. This upcoming school year will be my eighth year as a counselor and my third year at JHS.
Here at JHS, I serve students in 9th-12th grade with the last names ending G-O. Together we the other counselors, we provide:
- academic advisement
- career planning and development
- organize informational parent nights
- dual enrollment advisement
- implement a social-emotional learning curriculum school-wide
